GENERAL GUIDANCE FOR ALL ON-FARM EVENTS
All visitors will be asked to sign a liability waiver in advance. For children under 18 a parent or guardian will need to sign. This is a working farm, so please wear closed-toed shoes, be prepared for dirt/vegetation and unpredictable weather conditions.
Basic Farm Tour
2-hour guided educational farm tour – Covers history of the farm, walking tour of the working areas, barns and pastures and an activity such as planting seeds or harvesting. Visitors will be able to access animals. Discussion topics include farming techniques, sustainable agriculture, animal care and general question and answers about farming in Central Texas.
Tour Cost: $50 for up to 10 attendees, $5 per person after the first 10 (Limit 50). Children under three are free. Ideal for small groups, school outings or team events. Any tour group is welcome to bring a picnic lunch and stay an additional hour on the farm. Basic tours are limited to parties of 50 or less.
Customized Farm Tour
Includes Basic Tour plus an additional hour for the group to work towards a team objective. Please contact us ahead of time to customize the visit to meet your group's needs.
Tour Cost: $75 for up to 10 people, $5 per person after first 10.
Scout Camp Out
Pitch your own tents and use our fire pits and grills. Includes the Customized Farm Tour as described above. Scouts can collect eggs in the morning, help with the daily animal chores and prepare breakfast at their camp site. 2 eggs per person are included!
Camp Out Cost: $200 minimum for up to 10 visitors, with $10 per person after that. Up to two scout leaders are no charge. We also have pork from our heritage pigs for sale when available. Prices on request.
Catered Lunch Offerings
For groups events we have arranged special catering from our own Elgin Local Goods Café. Specific menus based on seasonal availability from local farms in the area. Cost is $15 per person. Requires advanced notice - contact us for menu options.
Lunch from the Farm
Work with a Chef to harvest from our available produce and prepare your own lunch! Our chef will help guide your group and explain how to prepare farm-fresh ingredients. Includes basic farm tour.
Cost: $200 minimum for up to 8 people, $10 per person over the initial 8.
